How to compress an image to 150KB
A 150KB upload limit is common when a website needs a small but still recognizable photo. The simplest way to meet it is to set the exact limit first, then resize only when the image needs more room to stay clear.
Use the exact 150KB limit
When a form says the file must be under 150KB, a vague “compress image” setting can still leave the result too large. Start with an exact target so the file is ready to upload without repeated trial and error.

Resize large photos before strong compression
