Convert image to JPG — free online

Convert PNG, WebP or HEIC photos to JPG locally in your browser. Process up to 10 images and choose a size limit for each file. Transparent areas become white; tight limits can reduce quality and dimensions.

How it works

  1. Open the converter with JPG output and a 1MB limit already selected.
  2. Choose one image or upload up to 10 PNG, WebP, JPG or HEIC files.
  3. Choose the size limit required by your upload destination. Use a larger limit when retaining detail matters more than file size.
  4. Download each JPG and check its pixel dimensions, file size and visible quality before uploading. Keep your original files.

Frequently asked questions

Can I process more than one image?

Yes. You can process up to 10 images in one batch.

Will the result be smaller?

JPG and WebP can be compressed to a file-size limit. PNG encoding is lossless, but meeting a small limit may reduce pixel dimensions. A converted PNG may be larger than the original, and this tool does not preserve transparency. Keep your original and check the downloaded image before uploading.

Can I convert PNG, WebP, or HEIC to JPG?

Yes. TargetKB decodes PNG and WebP in the browser and converts HEIC with its browser-side decoder. No image upload to a server is needed. JPG cannot preserve transparency, so transparent areas become white. JPEG encoding is lossy, and meeting a small size limit may also reduce pixel dimensions. A size target is an upper limit, not a promise of an exactly sized file or unchanged quality. If the browser cannot decode a file, the tool reports an error.
